Before you ask.

Will it hurt my engine or reliability?

No. Flame Link is fully standalone β€” it works in the exhaust, downstream of your engine, and never touches your internals, timing or factory tune. Your motor runs exactly as the factory built it, and the kit comes off without a trace.

Do I need an ECU flash or a tune?

No β€” none at all. Flame Link has no connection to your ECU, your engine management, or anything under the bonnet. It runs its own electronics, its own fuel, its own spark. Your DME doesn't even know it exists.

Why not just get a flame tune instead?

A flame tune reflashes your ECU and forces flames by dumping fuel and retarding timing β€” that piles heat and stress onto your engine, can hit your warranty and resale, costs more, and isn't easy to undo. Flame Link makes the same flames without any of that: a bolt-on that leaves your engine 100% stock. Same show, none of the risk.

Is it safe?

It's built around safety: hard burn-time limits, a hardware watchdog and fused power, and it cuts every output the instant something's off. High-grade, heat-rated parts and a sealed gasoline feed β€” no open fuel.

What fuel does it use?

A small, sealed gasoline feed. The lines stay closed β€” nothing leaks, drips or pools, on a hot exhaust or anywhere else.

Will it flame on its own, or catch fire?

Only when you trigger it β€” a lift-off, a downshift, or the app. Parked with the engine off it's completely inert; there's no open flame sitting there waiting.

Which cars does it fit?

The kit itself is universal β€” it lives on the exhaust, not tied to any one engine. Today the software is dialled in for BMW F & G series (with a plug-in harness), and we're rolling out support for more platforms. Can I control how big the flames are?

Yes. Tune flame size, intensity and crackle from the app, save your setups and switch on the fly β€” from a subtle daily crackle to full send.

Is it legal?

Off-road and show use only. A flame kit may be illegal on public roads where you live β€” check your local laws and run it responsibly.

Why Flame Link works on BMWs

Other kits don't work here.

Most bolt-on flame kits cut your ignition to create a spark and dump fuel into the cylinders. That thins your oil, stresses your rings, and doesn't even work on modern BMWs.

We know β€” we tried. The BMW DME is smarter than that. The moment it detects a missing ignition event, it cuts fuel injection entirely. No fuel, no flame. Those kits simply can't fire on a BMW.
